Susan Chanderbhan, Ph.D.
Licensed Psychologist
I focus on connecting with my clients. I have a significant appreciation for each individual’s uniqueness, while also seeing the common experiences that connect us all. My clients tell me that throughout our work together, they feel understood, heard, and valued. I use a cognitive-behavioral approach, with a strong focus on emotions. I focus on helping people get clarity about their thoughts and feelings, which in turn helps them to make choices in their lives that are more aligned with their values. My clients tell me that therapy with me helps them learn new skills but that what they find even more valuable is that it helps them learn new ways of understanding themselves and themselves in relation to others. A quality that distinguishes me as a psychologist is my passion for my work. Throughout our work together, no matter how difficult the journey is, I stay committed, providing compassionate guidance and support.
My specialties are
